last week: went with Katie to see IamX play at Safari Sam's, it was a really good show and they got the whole crowd dancing. Sylvia was there, and i saw Derek in the crowd. the opening bands were great too, one band had a guitarist that looked almost exactly like Elan, the resemblance was scary. which made me remember how i may never fully get over him.
Speaking of faces i haven't seen in a while, i ran into Tania and Natalie the other night while bar hoping with Katie. i was a tad drunk, but i smiled and said hello. they seemed almost happy to see me. luckily we made the conversation short and sweet and then left to continue with our night. we later met up with Leah (who's back from NY for a while) at The Bar in hollywood. my buzz started to wear off and i realized how much i hate being in a crowded bar while sober.
Im currently thinking about leaving Urban, its becoming ridiculous with all the childlike drama thats been going on in the last few months. its only Julie, Kassi and myself that seems to stick together. Julie is transferring the the Studio City store and Richie quit last week.
as of now, its all about trying to motivate myself and get on track! such as finding a job closer to home (Canyon Country) and getting started in school, im probably going to choose Simi Beauty school, its only $3000 and im sure i can get my dad to help, if not my grandma. as for boyfriends, my luck is still shit, the last guy i really liked was Zel who i hooked it up with, at his apartment on Cahuenga. hes an editor that used to throw parties with DJ Steve Aoki. besides my liking for this person, he really doesn't want anything more then just sex (since iv made plans with him to go on official dates and hes flaked every time with an explanation waiting after). i don't know what his fucking deal is but i think im worth a little more than this shit.

Last week, went to Mina's for her Birthday party, the bday girl was already drunk when i got there and so was Jimmy. after i had a few drinks Drew and Emily showed up i was really stoked to see him (hes always working). in the past we both had an idea for a script about our lives and other people in their 20's that we wanted to work on, and he brought it up at the party. its cool that he seems interested in doing it and even better that he wants my input!
Thursday night, went to the Faint and Ladytron show at the palladium with Alexis and Ashley. it was one of the best shows that been too in a long time. Lisa and Celia were there and i also ran into Micheal (who i haven't seen at a show in forever), Sonia, Tawnie, and Joaquin. Katie got in at the last minute only having to pay the security guy 10 bucks. the crowd was dancing as the bands played, and the energy was great. it was a fun night! Leah and Sune are comming out next week for her birthday, so ill get to see her after almost a year! i miss the Leahnator so that should be fun.
the Holidays are here! work has been getting busier do to all the lame Xmas shoppers. Julie and i joke about wanting to quit but im not sure when that will happen for me. i like working at Urban, but our favorite managers and friends are all being replaced by idiots! Chuy and Mai transfered to other stores and Shannon left too. now Denice is leaving and she was the last cool manager. i really hate the idea of working again out in Valencia, im hoping i won't have to.

Saturday night: went to a Pimp n' Hoe party with Nikki and her co-workers from Macaroni grill. all the girls there were dressed like whores, Nikki and i got stoned and laughed at everything all night. her friend Christina got smashed and started giving everyone lap dances and shaking her ass everywhere, it was truly awesome. Knotts Scary farm was canceled do to certain flakiness(MINA), and everyone being low on money, but thankfully Drew is having a pre-Halloween party this saturday that were all going to. i still have NO clue what im going to dress up as, maybe i should reprise my "Katherine" costume i did two years ago, but im thinking of going as Norman bates like i did back in 8th grade (see, i have no fresh ideas!!!)everyone already knows who their going as, fuck, why does Halloween have to be soo demanding and stressful? lol.
In other news, working at Urban Outfitters is awesome, so far i really like it and i pretty much like everyone there. its funny how many people i run into while working, its nuts! Last night: Nikki and i went to Velvet, it was pretty fun, good music and i saw the person i came there to see *smiles*, after dancing it up we went to Deltaco so Nikki could sober up, then went to Yale and Ian's to hang out, but they only lasted 5 minutes before wanting to go back inside and sleep! so we called it a night. on the way home i kept having to stop and let Nikki throw up, but she couldn't! before we always tried to gag ourselves but it never worked! i guess were just doomed to have hangovers...or we should just stop drinking!

Friday: me and Lisa met up with Shane and Sam, got drunk (vodka and cranberry baby!) got stoned, took pictures, then went to the CalArts party. alomost everyone that came was wearing their Halloween costumes. felt out of the loop because we didn't, but it wasn't Halloween yet! so there! Sam was a ghostbuster! he looked fuckin rad! while waiting in line i ran into Mike Carr and Jason Underhill, that was interesting. good to see them. once we got inside, it was like a big club, there were different bands playing and stuff. me, Shane and Lisa mostly just danced in one of the rooms. we danced to Joy Division, Pulp, interpol, the Cure, Siouxsie, the Clash, all the good stuff! we wandered around alot, took prom pics, can't remember averything, but it was fun!
Halloween: went to Drew's house. his costume was JFK with the bullet in his head and mine was a zombie doctor(28 days later inspired)!. we went to Tower Records to visit Emily who had to work all night. then we went to Hollywood for the Halloween parade thingy. we met up with some of Drew's friends and walked around. saw lots of people in drag and other funny costumes. one guy was "Edward Penis hands" which i think was the best costume ever!!! it was way crowded so i didn't think i would run into anyone but i ran into Bang friends...Jeph(Lisa's friend), then Michael and his friend, then Jerem and his gf. after the parade we had to walk 1000 miles back to the car, then we ate at Jerry's Deli. mmmmmmmmmmm ;) Tonight: went to go vote with my mom. go Kerry!!!
